Shift

In the seriess of portaits entitled Shift I was dealing with the connection of time and figure. I captured moments at the brink of change. The tension between real movement and it’s depiction interested me when I made my photo sketches. I painted phases of movements which can be captured only by the imperfect representation of a digital camera.
